Disabled Artists Making Dis/Ordinary Spaces (DAMD/OS) - May 17 events

This Arts Council funded project is reaching its final stages - with two events at the Architectural Association (AA) and the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL on Friday 5th and Saturday 6th May 2017. 

On Friday afternoon, disabled artist Damian Toal, together with tutors Barbara Penner, Tania Sengupta and Manijeh Varghese, bring together students from the AA and the Bartlett for a workshop entitled "The New Standard" investigating bodily norms in architecture and how to incorporate difference.

That evening there is a public event, where Damian witll join Deaf artist Aaron Williamson, and architect Thomas Carpentier, to talk about norms and standards. To find out more about this event and to register, go here.

On Saturday 6th May, the DAMD/OS project wraps up its first stage Arts Council- funded collaobrations, with an invited workshop and then a public event showcasing activities and discussing next steps. You can sign up for this event through Eventbrite here.
