Jos Boys works with writing, photography, installation and new media. Her background is in architecture and interiors. She is a design tutor, researcher, academic developer, consultant and community-based practitioner - alll connected in some way to architecture - and is most interested in how to better understand everyday social and spatial practicesHer work explores similarities and differences in how we articulate, contest, adapt and transform our conceptual, material and social landscapes.

She is particularly interested in using a variety of media to open up discursive spaces between designers, educators, students, artists and a wider public. This is particularly to include those normally left out of debates about, and access to, the design of our built surroundings.
